The Huai'an International Expo Center covers an area of approximately 195.5 acres, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan and a total construction area of about 132,000 square meters. The center integrates exhibition, commercial, conference, and service functions, making it a multifunctional commercial and exhibition complex.

The design concept of the Huai'an International Expo Center emphasizes practicality, economy, and forward-thinking, adhering to the principles of high starting point, high quality, and high standards. Its architectural design incorporates elements of Huaiyan cuisine, using imagery such as "fish" and "tofu," as well as "waves" and "boats," showcasing a modern style while reflecting Huai'an's cultural heritage. The building's exterior features a layered, upward-curving arc structure, symbolizing "a fish leaping over the dragon gate" (a metaphor for success and progress). The eastern part of the building resembles a granary, symbolizing harvest and prosperity, and embodies Huai'an's thriving development.
