The Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center is a major project invested and constructed by the Shaoxing Municipal Government. The center’s architectural design integrates traditional elements such as water, textiles, eaves, and lanterns, creating a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor features. With a modern yet elegant structure, the exhibition center complements the China Textile CBD, reinforcing its role as a key regional hub.
The exhibition center consists of four main halls, each catering to diverse functional needs:
- Hall 1, the main exhibition hall, is designed with 63m × 90m partitions, separated by water curtains and gravity sliding roofs, allowing flexible configurations for exhibitions of varying scales.
- Hall 2, a multi-functional hall, is built to accommodate banquets, performances, sports events, and fashion shows.
- Hall 3, the conference center, is uniquely designed with two rivers and two roads surrounding it, forming a waterfront conference setting.
- Hall 4, a double-level exhibition hall, supports multi-level trade shows, enhancing exhibition versatility.
Construction of the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center began in 2018, with Phase 1 and 2 completed by 2020. The center was officially opened in 2021. Strategically located at the intersection of Jinkeqiao Avenue (east), Kepao Line (south), Jingshui Road (west), and Chouduan Road (north), the exhibition center occupies a total construction area of 280,800 square meters, providing space for over 5,000 standard exhibition booths. It features more than 20 conference rooms, a large press release hall, and a variety of dining facilities.
As a landmark project, the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center serves as a vital supporting facility for the Shanghai-Hangzhou metropolitan area and aerotropolis economic demonstration zones.
