The Weihai International Convention and Exhibition Center is strategically located along the Golden Coast between Weihai’s central district and the economic and technological development zone. Overlooking Weihai Park and the sea, with Liugong Island visible across the water, the center is surrounded by a planned urban landscape park and the Likou Mountain scenic area to the west, the Weihai International Conference Center to the south, and the Weihai Civic and Cultural Center to the north. The Weihai International Exhibition Center features a pillar-free structure, with a total construction area of 55,800 square meters and a building height of 22.65 meters. The indoor exhibition area covers 26,600 square meters, while the outdoor exhibition space spans 9,000 square meters, with 580 parking spaces. The center's unique architectural design delivers a strong visual impact, incorporating a streamlined ship-like exterior, rainbow-like curved lines, a large-span crescent-shaped outline, and mast-like rooftop decorations, enhancing its modern and dynamic aesthetic.
The exhibition center includes trading halls, conference rooms, business negotiation rooms, office spaces, mechanical rooms, and parking facilities:
- Main Trading Hall (First Floor) with ceiling height ranges from 7.5 to 17.5 meters. Visitors can access the hall via a grand staircase or escalators from the central plaza. Exhibits and cargo can be delivered via ramps or freight elevators.
- Second Floor Exhibition Areas, located on the north and south sides of the main hall, with direct escalator access for visitors. Goods are transported via freight elevators.
- Third Floor, houses meeting rooms, negotiation rooms, and office spaces.
- Ground Floor Lobby (2,200 square meters), can host large-scale ceremonial events and also serves as a temporary trading hall when needed.
- Elevated Level features a dedicated dining and catering service area.
