In 2025, the SFE Shanghai International Franchise Exhibition will expand from its original Shanghai base to Chengdu, forming a year-round tour exhibition circuit of Shanghai–Chengdu–Shanghai. This exhibition covers major domestic economic zones, providing a platform for franchisors to implement their national expansion strategies. It encourages regional leading brands to expand across the country and supports renowned domestic brands in breaking into new regional markets. The exhibition aims to optimize participation experience through the use of digital advancements and years of industry insight.

The range of exhibits covers various industries. For instance, the food and beverage section includes both Chinese and Western restaurants, specialty snacks, and coffee shops. The education and training category features educational entrepreneurship and child intellectual development among others. Additionally, participants will find franchise services like laundry equipment and retail stores, along with brand franchises such as home décor and clothing agency franchises. Other sectors on display include beauty and fitness, medical and healthcare, technological achievements, and projects related to business promotion and development.

The exhibition is expected to attract over 300,000 visitors, with more than 1,000 exhibitors showcasing their products and services in a 120,000 square meter exhibition area. Over 1,100 brands will be present looking to find partners and expand their business, contributing to further prosperity of the domestic franchise economy.
