As we step into the era of Industry 5.0, China's manufacturing sector is presented with new challenges and opportunities. Qingdao, known as the "Capital of Chinese Brands", is enhancing its focus on developing four key industrial bases: electronics and home appliances, automotive, shipbuilding and container manufacturing, and petrochemicals. During the 2025 QME Qingdao International Machine Tool Exhibition, over 500 exhibitors will come together to showcase innovations across five major theme areas, covering an exhibition space of 30,000 square meters.

The Metal Cutting Machine Tools Area will feature a range of equipment including lathes, milling machines, boring machines, drilling machines, grinding machines, and machining centers, along with electric spark machines and wire cutting machines. In the Forming Machine Tools Area, visitors will be exposed to laser cutting machines, CNC bending machines, CNC shearing machines, and other sheet metal processing equipment.

The Grinding Tools Area will showcase various types of processing tools, non-standard tools, tool coatings, and materials, featuring the latest grinding components as well as measurement tools like laser interferometers and surface roughness testers. In the Machine Tool Accessories Area, visitors can explore various essential components, attachments, and electrical products that ensure optimal machine performance. Additionally, the Smart Factory Area will highlight cutting-edge industrial automation technologies, AGV/sorting robots, industrial software, and artificial intelligence applications designed to significantly enhance production efficiency.

Through the 2025 QME Qingdao exhibition, the city aims to propel high-quality development of its manufacturing sector, striving for an increase to over 30% in the manufacturing industry's contribution to regional GDP by 2026. This exhibition not only presents forefront technologies but also provides a platform for industry professionals to connect and collaborate, ensuring that China's manufacturing stands strong in global competition.
