2026 20th Shanghai International Flame Retardant Materials Technology Exhibition

In recent years, a series of major fire accidents have raised significant awareness regarding flame retardant products, making it imperative to utilize flame retardant materials to enhance urban fire risk mitigation. The international standards for flame retardant products are becoming increasingly stringent, with detailed regulations emerging. The implementation of China’s fire safety laws and international standards such as RoHS, WEEE, and REACH directives, especially regarding "Flame Retardant Products and Components Performance Requirements and Labeling in Public Places", has established a legal framework in China mandating the use of flame retardant products. The enforcement of these laws is expected to significantly stimulate the development and progression of the flame retardant industry.

To promote rapid advancement in this sector and showcase the latest technologies and products from both domestic and international sources, the 20th Shanghai International Flame Retardant Materials Technology Exhibition will be held as scheduled at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition aims to provide more specialized service systems, continuously expand its scale and quality, while ensuring seamless connections within the industry chain and sharing high-quality resources. The event will cover an exhibition area of approximately 28,000 square meters, bringing together hundreds of premium global exhibitors and attracting around 60,000 professional visitors. The exhibited products will include, but are not limited to: halogen-free flame retardants, phosphorus-based and nitrogen-based flame retardants, flame-retardant engineering plastics, flame-retardant resins, flame-retardant masterbatches, flame-retardant composites, flame-retardant coatings, and various flame-retardant textiles. The exhibition aims to provide participants with comprehensive information and opportunities within the entire flame retardant industry chain.
