2026 China (Chengdu) Defense Technology Industry Expo, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Industry Expo

The 2026 China (Chengdu) Defense Technology Industry Expo, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Industry Expo will be held in Chengdu, aimed at accelerating the development of a modern industrial system with Shaanxi characteristics. The event will showcase numerous key industrial chains, including aviation, aerospace, commercial vehicles, and passenger cars, particularly the latest developments of high-tech products.

Shaanxi Province has planned 34 provincial-level key industrial chains, among which 23 are advanced manufacturing chains. The commercial vehicle and new energy passenger vehicle chains have formed a trillion-level scale, and emerging technologies such as hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks and unmanned transport aircraft have gained market recognition, demonstrating strong development potential. The aviation industry cluster is particularly thriving, with Yanliang District gathering hundreds of enterprises involved in the research and development of large and medium-sized military-civilian aircraft. Several aircraft models such as Y-20, J-20, and C919 have achieved multiple technological breakthroughs.

Moreover, Shaanxi’s defense technology strength ranks among the top nationally with numerous key military industrial enterprises possessing rich scientific research and development capabilities, as well as strong technology integration abilities. The new material and biopharmaceutical industries are also developing rapidly, with high-tech product outputs like titanium and magnesium ranking among the best in the country.

The 2026 expo will feature numerous exhibition areas, including dual-use technology and equipment, defense industry and aerospace technology, industrial robots and dynamic testing areas, showcasing the latest achievements and technological advancements in the industry.
