The 2026 Seventh China Aquaculture Frontier Exhibition will take place in Nanjing, drawing attention from the global aquaculture industry. Nanjing serves as a geographical hub for China’s aquaculture sector, located in a region with significant developmental potential, encompassing key aquaculture areas along the Yangtze River and the Chinese coastline. This event is strategically accessible within a two-hour flight and a three-hour high-speed train ride, covering provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Jiangxi, and Hubei, all of which lead the way in industrializing aquaculture in China.
It is noted that China’s aquaculture industry has evolved over 40 years and, starting in 2018, has entered a comprehensive transformation phase propelled by environmental concerns, consumer upgrades, and global competition, with a focus on sustainable development and industrial upgrades. This exhibition aims to bring together leading Chinese aquaculture enterprises, cutting-edge products, and pragmatic solutions, acting as a bridge for industry professionals and experts to communicate and collaborate.
The exhibition is divided into several sectors:
1. Seedling and Breeding Promotion: Featuring high-quality aquatic seedlings, new species, improved breeds, and the promotion of new breeding technologies aiming to enhance breeding standards.
2. New Modes and Technologies in Aquaculture: Showcasing new aquaculture management technologies and models, including factory farming and recirculating aquaculture systems.
3. Aquatic Feed and Processing: Introducing new technologies, products, and processes, including aquatic feed, feed processing, raw materials, and feed additives.
4. Input Products and Disease Prevention: Covering water quality improvement agents, microbial preparations, disease-fighting agents, and aquaculture pharmaceuticals for disease diagnosis and control.
5. Aquaculture Equipment and Smart Fisheries: Exhibiting oxygenation systems, aquaculture pool pumps, automation equipment, and wastewater treatment systems to advance the industry's smart development.
6. Aquatic Food Ingredients: Including further processed aquatic food products, ready-to-eat snacks, and canned goods to meet market demands.
7. Cold Chain Storage and Transportation for Aquatic Products: Showcasing processing, packaging, freezing, and refrigeration facilities to ensure the freshness and transportation of aquatic foods.
This exhibition will provide a platform for learning and networking, targeting industry experts, suppliers, and emerging enterprises. It offers benefits to both aquaculture businesses and research institutions in related fields.
