To implement the directives of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party regarding the integration of clean energy and transportation, and to align with the strategic directions of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the construction of a strong transportation and energy nation, the "2026 Third National Conference on the Integration of Transportation and Energy Innovation Technology Development" will take place from June 26 to 28, 2026, in Wuhan. This conference, organized by the China Communication Society, Changsha University of Science and Technology, China Communications Construction Group, China Resources Recycling Group New Energy Technologies, and the China Electric Power Research Institute, aims to accelerate the establishment of a new energy system with deep integration of transportation and energy, to promote the coordinated development of transportation infrastructure networks and energy networks, and to enhance the utilization of clean energy in transportation.
The conference will focus on policy guidance and industry needs, encompassing academic exchanges, achievements releases, precise matchmaking, exhibition displays, and project observation, targeting key areas such as the integrated construction of transportation and energy infrastructure, promotion of clean energy transport equipment, and breakthroughs in essential core technologies. Through the gathering of innovative resources, the conference will establish a cross-industry collaborative innovation and cooperation exchange platform, which will facilitate the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, aiding in creating a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system for transportation and supporting the advancement of a strong transportation and energy nation.
