The China Highway Informatization Conference and Technology Product Exhibition (abbreviated as CEIC) began in 1999 and is hosted by the China Highway Society with the China Transportation Informatization magazine as the organizer. Over its 26 years, the conference has witnessed the shift in China's highway sector from electromechanical engineering construction to comprehensive informatization development. From small technical exchange meetings to the upcoming 26th Informatization Conference in 2024, CEIC has played a significant role in promoting the informatization construction and development of China's highways.

In order to thoroughly implement the decision-making of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on accelerating the construction of a strong transportation country and a digital China, and to promote the digital transformation, intelligent upgrade, and integrated innovation of highway transportation infrastructure, the China Highway Society will hold the 28th Highway Informatization Conference in Fuzhou on March 27-28, 2026. At the same time, the 28th Highway Information Technology Products Expo will be held, inviting suppliers of electromechanical and informatization products, system integrators, and research and design institutes in the industry to participate.

The exhibition will focus on showcasing the latest achievements in the field of highway electromechanical and informatization technology, including cutting-edge technologies and products in cloud networking, vehicle-road collaboration, monitoring and charging systems, communication technology, power supply and distribution facilities, lighting, and lightning protection. By facilitating exchange and cooperation within and outside the industry, it aims to promote the application of new technologies and products, improve the level of highway construction and operation management services, further ensure road safety, and enhance the efficiency of the road network.
