The Zhejiang Medical Exhibition is a unified event consisting of the "Zhejiang International Scientific Research and Medical Equipment Technology Exchange Exhibition," which began in 1988 and is held every spring, and the "Zhejiang Basic Medical Equipment Exhibition," which started in 2004 and is held every autumn. Since its inception, the exhibition has consistently adhered to the concept of "learning from others and expanding exchanges," focusing on both Zhejiang and the global stage. It serves as a platform to promote international exchange and cooperation in medical technology, aiding Zhejiang in building a leading hub for life sciences and health innovation.

Over the years, with the support and attention from various levels of leadership and through the collaborative efforts of participants, the exhibition has firmly established itself in Zhejiang, an area rich with vitality and opportunities. It has become an international festival in the medical technology and equipment sector, playing a significant role in fostering interaction between hospitals and enterprises, sharing medical technology and information exchange, and facilitating the collaborative development of domestic and international medical product companies. Over the years, the exhibition has facilitated the introduction of international advanced scientific research and medical instruments to the province worth over 10 billion RMB. By leveraging the exhibition platform, several products with high technical performance that meet industry development needs have been introduced and innovated upon. Concurrently, a number of medical device production enterprises with independent intellectual property rights have grown robustly, significantly boosting the province's medical device industry and advancing scientific research and health undertakings.

Much like a young entity brimming with potential, the exhibition is actively seeking to open new avenues for its development as it approaches the "fifteenth five-year" period. During this key phase of building a modern socialist country, and as Zhejiang seeks to become a major "window," the exhibition is continuously refining its positioning and proactively taking action. Approximately 45,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, which spans an exhibition area exceeding 40,000 square meters and provides over 45,000 booths. Additionally, the exhibition will showcase more than 20,000 different products, highlighting its substantial impact in the industry.
