2025 Shanghai International Crab Industry Expo

With the increasing consumer demand for healthy eating and the diversity of seafood, the market demand for the crab industry continues to grow. In recent years, China's crab market has rapidly expanded, with annual production of river crabs exceeding 900,000 tons. The crab industry chain has expanded to include various sectors such as breeding, farming, and processing, and numerous enterprises are emerging within this chain. Technological innovation is leading industrial upgrades, and exhibition activities promote industry exchanges, providing a platform for crab brand promotion and supporting the high-quality development of the Chinese crab industry chain.

The 2025 Shanghai International Crab Industry Expo will be held from October 17 to 19, 2025, at the Shanghai World Trade Exhibition Center. Thirdly, the expo will stimulate cross-sector channels to invigorate the catering market, encouraging innovation in the crab industry and promoting high-quality development. Fourthly, the event will feature a series of vibrant activities, such as the “Crab” Encountering Golden Autumn and the China Good Crab Expo, focusing on quality crabs for the public dining tables while building innovative advantages for crab industry development. This initiative emphasizes rural revitalization, quality of life, and regional distinctiveness. Finally, the expo aims to enhance the brand image of China's famous crab-producing regions to better serve the high-quality development of the crab industry.

The exhibition will also feature various display zones, including a crab culinary culture area, a brand crab production area, a premium crab product sales area, a crab restaurant brand exhibition area, a crab production inputs display area, a crab processing and equipment exhibition area, a smart equipment area for crab farming, a supporting industry display area, as well as an area for crab seed companies, aiming to showcase the latest achievements in the crab industry and promote communication and cooperation.
