The China (Beijing) International Tea and Tea Art Expo, also known as the Beijing Tea Expo, was founded in 2011 and has become one of the most significant events in the domestic tea industry. Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the China Agricultural International Cooperation Promotion Association, the expo takes place biannually at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing each April and August. Over the years, the exhibition area has expanded dramatically from 4,000 square meters in 2011 to 26,000 square meters in 2022, showcasing its growing impact in the industry.

The Beijing Tea Expo not only gathers excellent tea enterprises and brands from all over the country but also offers a rich variety of tea culture and tea art activities. It features nearly 500 renowned tea brands, including Enshi Yulu, Lichuan Red Tea, Taiping Monkey King, and Wuyi Yancha. The expo is dedicated to providing an exquisite tea tasting experience, allowing attendees to explore the highest quality teas from both home and abroad while also gaining insights into the latest market trends and cultural developments in tea.

In 2023, the exhibition area reached 26,000 square meters, attracting 43,477 visitors. The theme for the exhibition was "Spring Begins, Tea Nourishes All," drawing a large crowd of industry professionals and tea enthusiasts. Visitors not only experienced the charm of tea at the expo but also engaged in various cultural activities related to tea. The six major tea categories displayed include green tea, black tea, oolong tea, black tea, yellow tea, and white tea, making it a feast for tea lovers of all kinds.

As tea culture continues to spread and develop, the Beijing Tea Expo is set to remain an important exchange platform for the tea industry in the northern region of China. We look forward to welcoming even more new brands, more visitors, and a richer exhibition experience in 2025!
