Weihai, located at the easternmost point of Shandong Province, is a significant hub for tea culture in China. In 2025, Weihai will host the 5th China (Weihai) International Tea Culture Expo, gathering renowned teas and related tea utensils from across the country. The event is scheduled to take place from October 18 to 21, 2024, at the Weihai International Exhibition Center.
Historically, Weihai is the birthplace of the navy in China and has recently developed into a vibrant tea industry hub. During the expo, various types of tea will be showcased, including black tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, and more. Notably, local specialties such as Rushan green tea, Jiaodong red tea, and Rongcheng green tea have become area trademarks, attracting numerous tea enthusiasts.
Additionally, the expo will feature Zisha tea vessels, including Zisha teapots, tea trays, and various ceramic tea sets, as well as mahogany furniture and crafts, showcasing the unique charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship. We will also have luxurious jewelry and artworks from renowned artists on display, providing a richer cultural experience.
The organizing committee promises to innovate continuously by introducing more brand tea companies to enhance the cultural atmosphere and commercial potential of the event. This expo warmly welcomes friends from all walks of life to join us in experiencing the charm of Weihai’s tea culture and together promote the development of the tea industry.
