2025 World Gas Conference

The World Gas Conference (WGC) is one of the three flagship exhibitions hosted by the International Gas Union (IGU), held every three years. It is a premier event in the global gas industry. The conference first debuted in London in 1931 and has successfully held 28 editions to date. The 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025) will be hosted in China from May 19 to May 23, 2025, at the Beijing National Convention Center Phase II. We anticipate over 3,500 representatives, including thought leaders, industry giants, and innovation pioneers from the gas and energy sectors, as well as over 30,000 visitors, will converge under the theme "Empowering a Sustainable Future" to share insights, explore collaboration opportunities, and co-create the future of the industry. Under the leadership of the current IGU President, Ms. Li Yalan, IGU is working on a "Three-Year Work Plan" aimed at promoting the advantages of the gas industry through global outreach initiatives. The final results of this work plan will be reported at WGC2025. This once-in-a-lifetime platform provides attendees with the chance to: hear the latest insights from key industry speakers and delve into cutting-edge trends, innovations, and transformative technologies in the gas and energy sector; discuss the role of gas in achieving sustainable development goals and addressing global energy challenges through a hundred forums; partake in comprehensive conference programs including plenary sessions, topical debates, industry insights, and technological innovations that cover the entire gas value chain; connect with tens of thousands of global industry leaders and professionals to forge partnerships aimed at advancing innovation and growth in the energy space; and immerse themselves in an extensive exhibition area totaling 50,000 square meters, featuring over 300 exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services and the latest technological advancements and solutions in the sector. This year's conference is expected to be unprecedented in scale, with over 30,000 participants from more than 70 countries and over 300 exhibitors, covering the entire natural gas industry chain.
