In 2024, the term "internal competition" almost became synonymous with the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry. Major automotive brands, including Tesla and BYD, have engaged in fierce price wars, intensifying internal competition within the NEV market. Companies like Xiaomi, which have crossed over into this industry, are also rushing to enter the competition by accelerating new car development cycles, with new models now taking only 18 months to hit the market. This intense competition has driven technological advancements and expanded market acceptance significantly. The critical question now is how the NEV industry will navigate these challenges, and how supply chain companies can stand out in fierce competition.

To address these issues and promote global innovations in the NEV industry, the "NEAS CHINA 2025, 14th Shanghai International New Energy Vehicle Technology & Eco-Chain Expo" will be held from August 13 to 15, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Organized by Info Shanghai Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the China Electrotechnical Society, the Shanghai Society of Automotive Engineers, the EVH Electric Vehicle 1000-Person Group, and other industry organizations, the exhibition will cover an area of approximately 70,000 square meters. It is expected to feature 1,200 exhibitors from around the globe and attract over 80,000 visitors.

The expo will focus on the theme "Towards New Development, Crafting the Future," presenting the latest innovations and transformation trends across the NEV industry's entire eco-chain. Exhibits will span key areas such as new energy passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, power batteries, drive motors, charging and infrastructure, hydrogen fuel cells, and more. The event will also highlight cutting-edge technologies in autonomous driving, smart connectivity, and automotive electronics, aiming to drive the NEV supply chain towards globalization and higher-level development. Together with partners, the expo will contribute towards achieving global sustainable development goals.
