2025 8th Shanghai International Agricultural Products Expo

To deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions on “Three Rural Issues”, promote rural revitalization, and strengthen the construction of agricultural brands, the "8th Shanghai International Agricultural Products Expo" (referred to as Shanghai Agricultural Products Expo) will be grandly held in Shanghai from April 28 to 30, 2025. This year's expo will focus on the theme "Strong Brands for Agriculture, Quality Products at Reasonable Prices" and aims to build a specialized, market-oriented, and brand-focused platform for the production and sales of agricultural products. The event aims to promote high-quality agricultural products from across the country into Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, and to expand nationwide.

The main objectives of this expo include increasing the supply of green and high-quality agricultural products, advancing agricultural brand construction, achieving high quality and reasonable prices for agricultural products, broadening channels for farmers to increase their incomes, and promoting the high-quality development of rural industries to fully advance rural revitalization.

In the previous edition, over 500 brand enterprises from more than 10 provinces and municipalities participated, attracting more than 40,000 visitors, with significant trade cooperation and procurement results. This year’s expo is expected to attract over 600 high-quality enterprises nationwide. As Shanghai’s largest agricultural products expo, it will leverage Shanghai’s geographical advantages, market scale, and consumption trends to create an industry event with nationwide influence.

Exhibits will include a variety of specialty agricultural products such as pollution-free agricultural products, green foods, organic foods, national geographical indication products, local specialties, specialty ingredients, and nutritious health foods. Specific exhibits will cover fresh fruits, vegetables, and their products, rice, grains, edible oils and other grain and oil products, a wide range of forest foods like forest fruits and grains, and various aquatic products, meats, and types of tea. Furthermore, agricultural technology, machinery, food machinery, and packaging technology will also be showcased to promote the development and advancement of the industry.
