Currently, the world is experiencing unprecedented changes, with a new round of technological revolutions and industrial transformations advancing rapidly. Smart connected vehicles represent a strategic direction for the global automotive industry's transformation and upgrade, serving as a convergence point for major national strategies such as "strong manufacturing," "strong transportation," "cyberpower," and "digital China." They are also key to consolidating and enhancing China's economic recovery and accelerating the development of new productive forces.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan, under the strong leadership and forward-looking deployment of the central government, China's smart connected vehicle industry has achieved leapfrog development. Top-level design has become increasingly refined, technological innovations have made intensive breakthroughs, standard systems continue to be constructed, demonstration applications have been further promoted, and the resilience and safety levels of the industrial and supply chains have significantly improved. China's smart connected vehicle solutions and technological pathways have attracted global attention, contributing Chinese wisdom to the global automotive industry's transformation.
As we embark on the 15th Five-Year Plan, it is crucial to promote the scaling and commercialization of smart connected vehicles from technological verification and local demonstrations, which is an urgent issue concerning national industrial competitiveness and future mobility discourse. We must firmly grasp the initiative in industrial development, lead comprehensive industry revitalization through technological innovation, and effectively integrate the "vehicle, road, cloud, network, and map" for coordinated development, facilitating domestic and international dual circulations.
Against this backdrop, the 2026 China International New Energy and Smart Connected Vehicles Exhibition aims to create a high-level platform that serves national strategies, leads industry transformation, and promotes global cooperation. This exhibition will closely adhere to the spirit of the 15th Five-Year Plan, focusing on core topics such as key technological breakthroughs, infrastructure construction, business model innovation, and the improvement of legal regulations concerning smart connected vehicles. It will comprehensively showcase the latest achievements from key components to complete vehicles and from solutions to application scenarios.
We sincerely invite relevant enterprises and institutions from both domestic and international smart connected new energy vehicle industry chains to participate in the exhibition, gathering in Beijing's Yizhuang district to jointly analyze trends, share experiences, and promote cooperation, in a more open manner to integrate into the global innovation network, collectively shaping an inclusive and sustainable industrial future, and contributing substantial power from the automotive industry to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.
