2026 China Materials Conference

The "China Materials Conference" is the annual academic meeting of the Chinese Society for Materials Science, recognized as a national-level brand conference. It showcases the highest academic standards in the Chinese new materials field, covering the broadest range of topics with the latest developments in innovation. This event aims to address critical national demands, gather high-level intellectual resources, and focus on common industry 'bottlenecks' to vigorously promote cross-disciplinary and cross-industry collaborative innovation, thereby establishing a global hub for Chinese new materials academics and industries, serving the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and advancing major breakthroughs in frontier new materials.

The 2026 conference will take place from July 12 to 15 at the Wuhan International Expo Center. The agenda will include keynote speeches, breakout sessions, poster displays, and paper publications to foster various forms of communication and exchange.

The themes of this conference will cover a wide range of topics including energy materials, information materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials and devices, biomedical materials, everyday materials, environmental materials, safety materials, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and materials. Additional focal points will be the development of regenerative new materials, material processing, characterization, and biomass materials.
