2026 16th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo

The 16th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo will take place in 2026, co-hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, among others. The expo is themed "AI Empowerment, Towards a New Intelligence Era", focusing on accelerating the ‘Artificial Intelligence +’ trend and promoting innovative integration within the digital economy.

Covering an exhibition area of approximately 35,000 square meters, the expo invites representative enterprises and organizations from the artificial intelligence and digital integration sectors to showcase their latest innovations. Exhibits will highlight advancements in artificial intelligence infrastructure including computing power, data, and models; the renewal of humanoid robots and intelligent connected vehicles; and the integration and empowering role of AI in new industrialization and urban digitalization.

During the expo, there will be several activities organized for industry matchmaking, talent connections, product launches, and intelligent experiences. These events aim to aggregate innovative resources, strengthen element support, and facilitate effective cooperation and precise matchmaking in the digital economy. The expo will cover new generation information technologies like cloud computing, big data, 5G/6G communications, IoT, and cybersecurity, as well as applications within smart cities, including digital governance, smart education, smart healthcare, and intelligent transportation.

In terms of new intelligent manufacturing, the expo will showcase the latest achievements in smart manufacturing and the industrial internet, featuring future factories, unmanned workshops, and 3D printing technologies, promising a brand-new intelligent experience. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience AR/VR, smart wearable devices, intelligent sensing terminals, and interactive exhibits, gaining deeper insights into the new lifestyles brought by digitalization. The expo aims to guide the development of future industries, exploring forefront fields such as low-carbon new energy, the metaverse, and blockchain.
