The China Qingdao International Tea Industry Expo debuted in July 2019 on the West Coast, aimed at providing a comprehensive exchange platform for the tea industry. The scale of the expo has grown to nearly 20,000 square meters, showcasing about 600 international-standard booths, making it one of the largest and most influential industry events in the northern region. It has successfully reached its 13th edition this year.

This expo will cover a wide range of tea products, including black tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, and dark tea, as well as derivative tea products like herbal tea, extracted tea, concentrated tea, fruit-flavored tea, health-benefiting teas, tea beverages, and tea foods. The tea utensils section will feature ceramic, purple clay, tea trays, teapots, brewing tools, glassware, bamboo and wooden vessels, metal utensils, and tea furniture.

Additionally, tea packaging, processing, and derivative products will be showcased, touching on various aspects including tea packaging design, manufacturing and printing, metal canning, and tea processing machinery. Cultural products related to tea, such as tea clothing, Buddhist gifts, incense art, and tea calligraphy and paintings, will also highlight the broadness of tea culture.

To meet the diverse water needs for brewing tea, there will be displays of mineral water, purified water, drinking water, and water purification equipment. Related circulation enterprises, tea art training institutions, and tea media will also be displayed at the expo to create richer interaction and exchange opportunities.

Finally, the expo will not lack showcases of classical redwood root carving artworks, including antique furniture, Ming and Qing furniture, redwood art decorations, and other traditional decorative items, showcasing the charm of Chinese classical art.
