The China International Clean Energy Expo (Clean Energy Expo China, abbreviated as “CEEC”) has been held since 2009, successfully completing 15 editions, making it one of the world's most influential exhibitions in the clean energy sector. The event encompasses exhibition displays, equipment procurement, international cooperation, and forums, aiming to promote innovation and collaboration in clean energy on both a national and global scale.
The 16th China International Clean Energy Expo is scheduled to take place from March 25 to 27, 2026, at the National Convention Center in Beijing. It is co-organized by the China Electricity Council, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, and the China Hydrogen Alliance, with specific organization by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Electric Power Industry Committee and Beijing Tiger Exhibition Co., Ltd.
The theme for this year’s expo is “Data Intelligence Driven, Collaborative Development of Solar, Storage, Hydrogen and Electricity” and will adopt a 4+5+N multi-structure format. It features four specialized exhibitions: the 2nd China International Photovoltaic Innovation Application Exhibition, the 4th China Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition, the 5th China International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry Exhibition, and the 2026 China New Energy Artificial Intelligence Application Exhibition. During the event, five thematic conferences and numerous supporting activities will take place, including product launches, international exchanges, signing ceremonies, project matchmaking, media interviews, and science popularization activities, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the clean energy sector.
The photovoltaic exhibition area showcases various application scenarios such as desert power stations, offshore floating plants, and applications in agriculture and commercial buildings. Featured photovoltaic cell components include TOPCon, HJT, PERC, and perovskite. Additionally, supporting equipment for photovoltaic stations, such as inverters, combiner boxes, and monitoring devices, are displayed.
The hydrogen energy and fuel cell exhibition area focuses on hydrogen production technologies, including electrolysis and fossil fuel methods, while showcasing applications of hydrogen in industries like steelmaking, chemical, and transportation. Hydrogen refueling station technologies and equipment are also highlighted to promote the proliferation and application of hydrogen energy.
The energy storage exhibition area features various storage technologies, including battery storage, pumped storage, and compressed air storage, equipped with advanced energy management systems and specialized equipment, reflecting trends and solutions in current energy storage technology.
The comprehensive exhibition area will showcase the latest developments in intelligent energy solutions, wind power generation technology, and digital energy technologies, among other fields.
In summary, this year's expo is a grand gathering of industry experts, enterprises, and visitors, making significant contributions to the advancement of clean energy.
