The Spring Festival is one of the most significant traditional festivals in Chinese culture, embodying emotions linked to family reunions, sumptuous feasting, and joyful moments. During the Spring Festival, purchasing New Year goods becomes not only a necessity but also a cultural ritual for the Chinese people. Hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce, the "National New Year Goods Shopping Festival and Shandong Spring Festival Goods Fair" has evolved since 2004 into a major exhibition, with over 18,000 participating enterprises and approximately 3.6 million visitors, making it one of the most influential year-end consumption events in Shandong province and the wider northern region of China.

The 2026 23rd Shandong Spring Festival Goods Fair will showcase a plethora of Spring Festival goods, including candies, liquors, seafood, clothing, and household items. Key activities include the opening ceremony, brand promotion events, rural revitalization live sales, and local cultural displays such as traditional practices of writing spring couplets and window paper cutting workshops.

One of the event highlights is the "Global New Year Goods, One Stop Shopping" concept, featuring an international exhibition area displaying imported products from around the world. At the same time, distinguished products from various provinces will be invited to showcase local specialties, including well-known items like Dezhou BBQ Chicken and Yantai Apples. Another highlight is the immersive experience of traditional Spring Festival scenes, recreating the old Jiaodong streets to create a rich holiday atmosphere with interactive points and thematic displays.

The exhibition also includes rich cultural performances and family interaction activities, ensuring that it caters to attendees of different ages and consumption levels. Whether for purchasing New Year goods, understanding local customs, experiencing cultural richness, or enjoying festive foods and joy, the Shandong Spring Festival Goods Fair is a must-attend event for every family.
