Since 1992, the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMES) has been held biennially in Beijing and is recognized as the most influential international exhibition in the northern region's industrial machine tool industry. This exhibition serves as an excellent platform for practitioners and experts to share ideas, promote business expansion, and enhance profitability. CIMES has become a significant platform for promoting technology and trade development in the machine tool industry, also acting as the best window for the world to understand China as the largest consumer market for machine tools.

The theme of the 2026 exhibition is "New Technology, New Ecology, New Development," focusing on the "digital transformation and intelligent upgrade" of the machine tool industry, highlighting the concept of "integration of supply and demand, fusion of production and usage" to provide a high-quality platform for trade cooperation, technical exchange, and industry connection within the machine tool sector.

As a cornerstone of industrial production, machine tools are among the most vital tools in manufacturing. According to the Oxford Economics Institute, the global demand for machine tools is expected to see a significant recovery by 2025 and 2026. With the influence of industry cycles, downstream demand, and policy support, China's machine tool market is poised to seize important strategic opportunities in the coming years. The primary development trend of "digital transformation and intelligent upgrade" is transforming the machine tool industry from traditional manufacturing focused on geometric precision to high-performance manufacturing aimed at performance precision.

Highlights of the exhibition include:
1. Deeply rooted in the industry for 30 years, it is China's largest biennial platform for machine tool trade and technical exchange;
2. Showcasing cutting-edge manufacturing technology, attracting over a hundred strong purchasing groups and nearly 100,000 high-quality visitors;
3. Collaborating with industry, academia, research, and application parties to organize dozens of product launches, high-level forums, and supply-demand matching events;
4. Fully utilizing central enterprise resources to assist companies in integrating into the new development pattern.

This exhibition's product range includes:
1. CNC machine tools and automation equipment, including various CNC milling machines, lathes, grinding machines, and automated production lines;
2. Traditional machine tools and equipment, such as milling machines, lathes, boring machines, drilling machines, planers, grinding machines, and machining centers;
3. Cutting tools and accessories, including drill bits, milling cutters, lathe tools, fixtures, and tool holders;
