The 2nd Shanghai International Cultural and Creative Products Expo, organized by Shanghai Qianyu Shouzhan Cultural Media Co., Ltd., was held from March 20 to 22, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, successfully concluding its event. The theme of this year's expo was "Defining Trends, Igniting Consumption," attracting 330 cultural and creative enterprises from 21 countries and regions around the world, showcasing over 1000 internationally recognized IPs. With an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters, the event boasted vibrant trade activities and fruitful forum results, presenting a top-tier gathering that integrated exhibition, communication, trade, and collaboration for the global cultural and creative industry.

Highlights of the expo included a dedicated area for the launch of innovative products, showcasing over 500 debut products that span various fields such as cultural creative toys, digital art, and innovative non-heritage projects. Prominent brands like the Palace Museum, various trendy toy brands, and non-heritage cultural creative firms presented their latest IP and product matrices. In addition, the IP cross-industry matchmaking session built cooperative bridges to deepen the integration of IP and cultural creativity, uncovering new opportunities.

The expo also featured a new channel for cultural products to go international, collaborating with platforms such as XiaoHongShu (Little Red Book), TikTok, and Dewu to launch "E-commerce Platforms Turning Culture into New Online Channels," aiming to broaden the international market for cultural creative products. Concurrent events included the 2025 Shanghai International Cultural and Creative Industry Conference, CIPE product launch conference and spring orders meeting, GCES e-commerce selection conference, GCES cultural creative outbound forum, and more, attracting a considerable number of industry professionals.

This event gathered 330 exhibitors from over 20 countries, showcasing diverse products in fields like digital art, cultural relic derivatives, and traditional handicrafts. In the designated "Innovative Product Launch Area," leading brands like the Palace Museum and Dunhuang Cultural Creative unveiled over 1000 new products, including various smart offerings enabled by technology, such as the Magic Cube and Panda AI, showcasing the infinite potential of technology empowering cultural innovation.

Attendees not only experienced cutting-edge designs up close but could also directly connect via the "Cultural Creative Chain" online platform, facilitating efficient collaboration throughout the industry chain. This expo transcended traditional trade fairs, symbolizing a pivotal transition for China's cultural creative industry from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing," embodying a critical leap from cultural confidence to commercial confidence. From March 12 to 14, 2026, this crossover fiesta of culture, business, and technology awaits visionary participants to collaboratively pen a new chapter.
