2025 7th China (Kunming) South Asia Public Safety Technology Expo

The 20th National Congress report of the Communist Party of China has clearly laid out the strategy for enhancing public safety governance, emphasizing the need to strengthen the country's foundational security and social stability. As a southwestern frontier province of China, Yunnan is not only a critical shield for national security but also a gateway to South Asia and Southeast Asia. Thus, the development of social public safety in Yunnan is of great significance for maintaining overall national security and promoting regional stability.

To facilitate this, the 2025 7th China (Kunming) South Asia Public Safety Technology Expo will be held from March 21 to 23 in Kunming, organized by the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Thai Security Association, and other significant entities. This expo focuses on showcasing advanced intelligent and digital security products, including police information systems, safety equipment, traffic safety technologies, cybersecurity solutions, smart parking systems, and security drones, aimed at presenting the latest innovations in public safety.

Since its inception in 2018, the South Asia Security Expo has successfully held six editions, covering over 80,000 square meters with more than 1,200 participating companies and 160,000 visitors. This strong participation has positively contributed to the development and improvement of public safety in the province. The expo aims to create an international platform that connects Yunnan with Southeast Asia and South Asia, facilitating technological cooperation and product display to elevate public safety standards in the region.
