The World Robot Conference (WRC) is an international event in the field of robotics, approved by the State Council and organized by the China Electronics Society and the World Robot Cooperation Organization. It has received profound interest and guidance from relevant authorities, including a congratulatory letter from Xi Jinping for the inaugural conference. Since its inception in 2015, WRC has been held successfully for nine editions, integrating forums, exhibitions, competitions, and a series of associated activities. WRC has become the largest and highest-level robotic event in China, bridging technology and industry while promoting research and application, facilitating connections between China and the world.

The 2025 World Robot Conference will take place in August in Beijing, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, consisting of four major sections: forums, exhibitions, competitions, and thematic activities. The forum will include a three-day main forum, more than twenty sub-forums, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies, discussing global policies, research advances, and pioneering applications in the robotics industry.

The exhibition will be organized according to the “4+C” layout, which encompasses four major sectors: industrial robots, humanoid robots, service robots, and special robots, plus an innovation exhibition area. Over a hundred enterprises and research institutions will showcase more than 600 new products, focusing on logistics robots, drones, robot bodies, and key components.

The competition section will include four major competitions: the Inclusive Robotics Challenge, the BCI Brain-Controlled Robot Competition, the Robot Application Competition, and the Youth Robotics Design Competition, engaging approximately a thousand participants. The conference has invited global enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the robotics sector to showcase new research achievements, application products, and solutions, thereby providing an international platform for the Chinese robotics industry.

The conference will comprehensively showcase robot industry applications and research outputs, discussing the evolutionary pattern of the robotics industry in the context of artificial intelligence.
