2026 29th Chengdu International Auto Show

As one of the most important annual automotive events in China, the 29th Chengdu International Auto Show will be grandly held from August 21 to August 30 this year at the Western China International Expo City, with the theme "Leading the Trend, Moving Forward". Over 28 years of progress has established the Chengdu International Auto Show as one of the four major A-level auto shows in China and a significant market "weather vane" for the automotive industry in Western China.

This year, the exhibition will feature nearly 120 domestic and international exhibitors, with over 1600 car models showcased across 12 exhibition halls and outdoor areas, covering a total area of 220,000 square meters. On the first day, there will be a concentrated display of 70 new cars, with 61 press conferences scheduled. Last year, the Chengdu International Auto Show attracted 3,480 media outlets and 10,030 journalists, highlighting the development dynamics of the automotive industry.

During the ten-day exhibition, the total attendance reached 910,200, generating 33,745 orders with a transaction value of 5.753 billion yuan, continuing the success of previous years. The increase in orders and attention further confirms Chengdu as "China's top city for automotive consumption", infusing the local economy and the high-quality development of the automotive industry with new momentum.

The exhibition will cover a variety of vehicles including passenger cars (sedans, sports cars, SUVs, MPVs, modified cars, concept cars, etc.) and commercial vehicles (large and medium buses, light buses, public buses, etc.). It will also showcase automotive parts, including engines, chassis systems, brake systems, drivetrain systems, steering systems, body and component systems, exhaust systems, and tires.
