The 2026 Xinjiang New Energy Vehicles, Electric Vehicles, Motorcycles, and Parts Expo will be held in Kashgar, Xinjiang, an important hub of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Xinjiang has positioned itself as a strategic location for the global electric vehicle industry due to its geographical advantages and industrial potential.
Currently, the electric vehicle market in Xinjiang has surpassed one million units in annual sales, with an average annual growth rate exceeding 15%. Urumqi has five major distribution centers with over 200 dealers covering 80% of the terminal market in the region. Furthermore, the annual procurement volume in Kashgar, Hetian, and Aksu exceeds 130,000 vehicles, with neighboring countries exhibiting strong demand for well-adapted new energy vehicles.
This expo aims to address issues such as insufficient technological exchange and subpar supply-demand connectivity in the electric vehicle industry. It seeks to build a cross-border cooperation and efficient matching platform to support Xinjiang in establishing itself as an industry export hub, thereby promoting economic collaboration and the high-quality development of the new energy sector along the Silk Road.
The event will feature a rich array of activities including an opening ceremony with government leaders, industry association representatives, and executives from leading companies, along with a summit forum on green transportation tools, a conference for electric vehicle dealers and signing ceremonies, product launches, one-on-one business matching meetings, and test drive experiences.
The exhibition will be divided into several themed areas, showcasing electric bicycles, motorcycles, components and supporting products, as well as new energy vehicles. Products on display will include various types of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, motorcycles, mobility scooters, and specialized electric vehicles such as cold chain vehicles and fire trucks. Furthermore, key components such as battery management systems and charging facilities will be exhibited, showcasing essential technologies and products required for new energy vehicles.
