As the world seeks new answers, design becomes the driving force behind innovation. The 7th Shanghai International Design Week is themed 'Renew', strategically focusing on the new productivity driven by design, gathering top global design wisdom, technological power, and industrial resources to create a comprehensive value chain ecology platform. This platform will span from technological innovation to practical application, from material revolution to business closure.
We will spotlight pioneering brands in fields such as smart home, new energy transportation, and AIoT technology, providing a scene-based display and commercial cooperation platform. Here, you will witness how smart homes seamlessly integrate into daily life through exquisite design, cultivating a convenient, comfortable, and tech-savvy living space. From smart living to intelligent transportation, the Shanghai International Design Week is not only a stage for brands to showcase their products and technological strengths but also a rich source of inspiration for designers, encouraging them to incorporate intelligent elements into their future projects more effectively.
The exhibition will gather high-quality material suppliers from around the globe, showcasing comprehensive solutions from spatial design to end implementation, covering building materials, furniture, and soft furnishings. It provides brands with direct opportunities to connect with high-quality supply chains, reducing procurement costs while helping designers accurately grasp material trends and realize their creative visions.
Focusing on five major sectors: digital design, architectural and interior design, product design, fashion design, and brand design, the Shanghai International Design Week aims to 'Unleash Creativity for a Better Life'. With a global perspective of development, it highlights the design industry and sub-segments for designers, initiating national, professional, and authoritative award series to lead the trend of a 'better life' in China, further driving the healthy development of the design industry.
During the event, a series of exciting design awards and activity forums will be held concurrently. The design awards demonstrate the highest recognition for design elites, aiding in brand building and enhancing industry influence. The activity forums will invite industry experts, scholars, and leaders to delve into hot topics in the current design industry, from the impact of AI design to the practice and development of sustainable design, creating a collision of ideas that brings designers the latest industry insights and forward-looking trends.
The exhibition will feature contemporary art and architectural design exhibitions such as independent curator showcases by pan designers, 'Left Bank' design festival, results exhibition of Future Star winners, and an international brand pavilion. Additionally, the design-driven supply chain exhibition will invite designers and brands to curate together. There will also be creative design installations and award-winning works from Florence, with designers receiving certificates from Shanghai International Design Week, promoting multi-channel publicity and international collaboration opportunities.
