A New Dual-City Exhibition Model - Macau and Zhuhai Shine Together! The 2025 Global Intelligent Machinery and Electronic Products Expo (AIE) is an international event organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, with its first promotional conference taking place in Beijing in July 2025. The main exhibition will occur simultaneously in Macau and Zhuhai from December 4 to 6, 2025, under the "Dual-City Exhibition" model.
The expo's theme is "Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing, Global Sharing," featuring two main exhibition areas in Macau and Zhuhai, encompassing a total of six themed pavilions, with a total area of 70,000 square meters. The Macau area will focus on intelligent communication and the Internet of Things, intelligent audio-visual experience, the Metaverse, and new venture concepts, while Zhuhai's area will encompass smart equipment and industrial internet, smart transportation and future travel, and intelligent home and health technologies. The expo will utilize a "forum + exhibition" format, including one main forum, six sub-forums, and over 50 procurement matchmaking events, attracting about 1,000 exhibiting companies and 70,000 professional visitors, including international buyers like Walmart. The organizers have facilitated direct express bus services between Macau-Zhuhai and Hong Kong-Zhuhai, established VIP channels at three airports, and implemented cross-border convenience measures of "one-time inspection, dual-city access," along with a "double 15%" corporate income tax incentive policy.
In the context of rapidly evolving global technological competition, disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and low-altitude economies are breaking through at an accelerated pace. The intelligent machinery and electronics industry is at the core of this new round of technological revolution, becoming a crucial area where countries are vying for the high ground in future development. Supported by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, as well as the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone Executive Committee, the Macao Investment Promotion Agency, and the Zhuhai Municipal Government, the first Global Intelligent Machinery and Electronic Products Expo (AIE) will be held from December 4 to 6, 2025, in Macau and Zhuhai, introducing a new "Dual-City Exhibition" model. The exhibition will last for three days, with December 4-5 designated as professional visitor days and December 6 open to the general public.
This AIE Expo leverages the comprehensive industrial chain advantages of the Greater Bay Area. Its theme is "Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing, Global Sharing," positioning itself as a "technology barometer, global meeting place, and industry accelerator," aiming to create a first-class consumer electronics exhibition platform that enhances the Greater Bay Area's influence and voice in the global intelligent manufacturing sector.
The exhibition will be held at the Venetian Macao's Cotai Expo, covering an area of 40,000 square meters, focusing primarily on intelligent electronic products. It will concentrate on three dimensions: infrastructure, terminal devices, and commercial capital, featuring three themed venues: the Intelligent Communication and IoT Pavilion, the Intelligent Audio-Visual and Metaverse Pavilion, and the New Venture Concepts and International Exhibition Pavilion, with approximately 500 participating companies showcasing cutting-edge technology projects and innovative business models, including satellite communications, integrated circuits, mobile phones, new displays, AR/VR/XR products, and wearable smart devices.
The Intelligent Communication and IoT Pavilion will highlight advanced communication technologies such as 5G/6G communication, satellite communication, and quantum communication, showcasing core components like integrated circuits, sensors, and communication modules, as well as terminal products like smartphones, wearable devices, and satellite phones, along with innovative applications such as 5G + Industrial Internet and 6G space-ground integrated networks.
The New Venture Concepts and International Pavilion will focus on domestic and international innovative achievements in quantum information, brain-computer interfaces, blockchain technology, carbon-neutral technologies, and biosensing technologies, along with breakthroughs like multi-modal 3D generative AI models and new economic concepts including shared economy.
The Intelligent Audio-Visual and Metaverse Pavilion will bring together immersive devices such as AR/VR/MR headsets, standalone VR units, industrial-grade AR maintenance glasses, holographic projection equipment, 8K ultra-high-definition display panels, audio technology products such as intelligent voice assistants and spatial audio algorithms, and creative displays like dynamic light sculptures, AI-generated images, digital twins, and 3D modeling.
