From direct chain operations to the rise of franchising, chain management continuously evolves alongside the development of business models. Today, China boasts hundreds of chain enterprises with over a thousand stores, and many local chain brands have reached the scale of ten thousand stores. In 2025, China's franchise industry continues to show positive growth. The rate of chain operation in the catering sector has further increased, and many renowned direct brands are opening franchising channels. Brand franchising has become an excellent choice for more companies to increase brand exposure and explore new markets in fierce competition.
Scheduled from May 11 to May 13, 2026, the 8th Guangzhou International Franchise Exhibition will be grandly held at Hall D of the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center, organized by the Guangdong Chain Operation Association and Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd., in conjunction with the All-China Bakery Association. Taking advantage of the geographical and economic policies of the Greater Bay Area and based on ten years of experience, the exhibition brings together numerous high-quality chain brand resources. It covers six major sectors: catering, retail, life services, leisure and entertainment, education, and one-stop store opening, with over 50 sub-sectors.
In the franchise sector, it features both Chinese and Western dining, trendy beverages, and specialty snacks, along with catering equipment, packaging materials, and pre-franchise areas. The catering space segment offers restaurant furniture and commercial space design. The education franchise sector focuses on preschool, extracurricular, and innovative education. The new retail franchise section showcases vending machines and smart retail solutions. Meanwhile, the service franchise segment includes industries like beauty and hairdressing, housekeeping and health services, and accommodation repair.
This exhibition not only provides a professional platform for franchises and investors to connect efficiently but also offers insights into the future development of franchising. It facilitates seamless investments between brands and investors, promoting transactions both online and offline, ultimately enhancing the vigor of the entire franchise industry.
