2025 17th China International Seed Industry Expo & 22nd National Seed Information Exchange and Product Trading Fair

Approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the 17th China International Seed Industry Expo & 22nd National Seed Information Exchange and Product Trading Fair (referred to as the National Seed Dual Exchange Conference) will take place from September 26 to 28, 2025, in Qingdao City, with the theme "Strengthening Technology for Increased Yield and Revitalizing the Seed Industry for Food Security." The conference will focus on services for seed industry revitalization and support for significant yield increases, adhering to the principle of empowering systems, regions, and enterprises, while leading the industry forward.

The event will encompass five main aspects: First is the exhibition and display, featuring both indoor and field exhibitions. The indoor section will have five specialized exhibition zones, including areas for established enterprises, growth enterprises, biological breeding enterprises, seed production bases, and equipment services, showcasing new products, technologies, and equipment in the national seed sector to promote the application of scientific and technological achievements. The field exhibition will feature iconic achievements and seed certification zones, demonstrating excellent varieties and cultivation techniques for crops like corn, soybeans, and peanuts.

The second aspect is information dissemination, focusing on the five actions for seed industry revitalization, providing authoritative insights on the latest variety approvals, and listing major innovative achievements and the top ten crop varieties for promotion and leading seed enterprises based on sales in 2024.

Thirdly, channel connection activities will be organized around the exhibition's theme, building a comprehensive communication platform for the research, production, and promotion sectors that accelerates the application of technological achievements and supports quality growth and significant yield increases.

Additionally, promotional activities will highlight the achievements in the breeding of characteristic crops and the construction of industry chains, while inviting mainstream media in the industry for comprehensive reporting to create a vibrant and dynamic innovation environment.

Finally, concurrent industry exchange activities will explore pathways to integrate research and market applications, pushing for depth in the fusion of technological and industrial innovation, using digital technologies to empower quality development in the seed sector.
