In December 2024, the National Development and Reform Commission established the "Low-altitude Economic Development Office," signaling that low-altitude economy, as an emerging strategic industry, is gradually becoming a new engine for promoting high-quality economic development in China, showcasing enormous growth potential. In response to the national directives on the development of low-altitude economy and to accelerate the cultivation of new production capacity, the Shanghai Society of Aeronautics and the Guangdong Aerospace Society have teamed up with the Shenzhen Transportation Bureau, Pingshan District Government, and various low-altitude companies to jointly hold the 2025 Shenzhen eVTOL Industry Development Conference and Low-altitude Economy Exhibition (2025 Shenzhen eVTOL Exhibition).

The 2025 Shenzhen eVTOL Exhibition will take place from September 23 to 25, 2025, in Shenzhen, China. The event is structured around "two days of conferences and three days of innovative exhibitions," focusing on topics that are closely related to the low-altitude economy. These topics include the development of urban air traffic, airworthiness certification, eVTOL manufacturing and delivery operations, large commercial cargo drones, flight control, eVTOL propulsion systems, advanced cockpits and avionics systems, eVTOL structural aerodynamic layout design, lightweight and composite materials, aviation safety systems and certification, 5G connectivity, and low-altitude smart networking.

The exhibition will gather leaders and distinguished representatives from various government agencies, civil aviation airworthiness certification centers, civil aviation control stations, aircraft manufacturers, operators, aviation research institutions, and low-altitude travel solution providers to discuss the leading role of eVTOL technology in the development of the low-altitude economy. This event will facilitate the steady progress of the low-altitude economy and provide strong support for future industrial responses.
