Hangzhou, formerly known as Lin'an or Qiantang, is the capital of Zhejiang Province, a prosperous and wealthy area, and a place of cultural flourishing. Today, it has evolved into one of China's mega-cities, with a permanent population exceeding 12 million, ranking first in both population and GDP in Zhejiang Province. It has been a traditional gathering place for the wealthy, a health and wellness tourism area, and a thriving tea culture hub. Additionally, as a key city in the G60 Science and Technology Corridor, the core city in the Hangzhou Bay Economic Circle, and one of the important central cities of the Yangtze River Delta approved by the State Council, Hangzhou's economic scale is considerable, with consumption potential drawing global attention.
The 3rd Hangzhou International Tea Industry Expo is scheduled to take place from August 28-31, 2025, at the Wulin Star Exhibition Center in Hangzhou. This year's tea expo will leverage Hangzhou's geographical advantages and the vast market potential of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster centered around Hangzhou. It aims to maximize the advantages of specialized tea exhibitions under the themes of "large market, large circulation, and large trade" to ignite passion within the tea industry, support new market growth, and promote high-quality development of the "new quality" tea industry!
Exhibits include six major types of tea, herbal teas, various emerging tea types, tea utensils such as ceramics, purple clay, metals, bamboo, and wood, tea packaging products like tea tins and gift boxes, along with related items from the tea industry chain and cultural aspects such as tea ceremonies, tea art, and incense ceremonies. During the event, there will also be multiple tea art performances and other related activities to enhance effective communication between buyers and exhibitors, facilitating trade.
