In terms of internationalization, the Expo will deepen multicultural exchanges and industrial cooperation with numerous countries. As of now, 15 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, Spain, and Thailand, have confirmed their participation, alongside renowned companies such as Walmart and Volkswagen. The United Nations Procurement Division will also be co-hosting the 15th China Western International Procurement Conference.
Marketization efforts include an open call for partners, promoting a merger of outcome display, commodity sales, and cultural performances, all within a total exhibit area of 200,000 square meters at the China Western International Expo City.
For specialization, the Expo will feature three main areas: Open Cooperation, Emerging Industries, and Better Life. The Open Cooperation area gathers quality enterprises from home and abroad to showcase cutting-edge results of international cooperation; the Emerging Industries area focuses on technological innovations and showcases advancements from artificial intelligence to new energy sources; while the Better Life area lets visitors experience a perfect blend of technology and livelihood, presenting products from smart homes to local delicacies.
On the digitization front, this Expo will establish the "Digital Western Expo" platform, creating an integrated service system for exhibition management, industry advisory, and product information releases. Additionally, it will introduce a "concierge service + trading group procurement" model to ensure high-quality service throughout the event.
Exhibition halls will feature specialized areas: Hall 3 will display achievements in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle; Hall 4 will serve as an International Cooperation Hall, showcasing economic collaborations from Belt and Road countries and beyond; Hall 6 will demonstrate regional cooperation achievements from areas like Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the Greater Bay Area; and the Sichuan "Five Districts Common Prosperity" Hall will highlight Sichuan's overall planning and modernization accomplishments.
The Western Industries New Momentum showcase will focus on technological innovation and emerging industries, particularly in electronics, equipment manufacturing, and other advantageous sectors in the West, promoting a comprehensive exhibition of the entire industrial chain from strategic planning to outcome transformation. The Lifestyle Market will aim to enrich consumer experiences, showcasing time-honored brands and local delicacies to stimulate consumer potential.
Finally, the Expo will promote cultural exchanges through performances and various formats, enhancing the dissemination of the West's ethnic and folk cultures. Utilizing a "3+1+N" operational model, a new intelligent exhibition system integrating online and offline experiences will provide guests with 24/7 interactive exhibition experiences.
