The inaugural China (Hangzhou) International Model Culture Festival (referred to as the Hangzhou Model Festival) is a grand event held by HEC China International Model Expo, building on 23 years of experience, and for the first time moving south from Beijing to Hangzhou. The event will take place from November 14 to 16, 2025, at the second phase of the Hangzhou International Expo Center, bringing a celebration of model culture that blends technology, art, and passion.
The second phase of the Hangzhou International Expo Center is located in the core area of Qianjiang Century City on the south bank of the Qiantang River, adjacent to the first phase and easily accessible. It is within a half-hour drive from Hangzhou East Station, Hangzhou Train Station (city station), and Xiaoshan Airport. The subway line 6's Expo Center station A2 exit leads directly to the main entrance of the venue.
This model culture festival is planned to feature two main exhibition halls: the Static Model Hall and the Dynamic Model and Event Competition Hall.
The Static Model Hall (1F) includes a static model exhibition area, a static model production exchange competition, a university club exchange area, and a personal studio display area. The exhibits cover a wide range of model types including alloy car models, merchandise from games, anime, and films, original IP models, plastic assembly models, finished statue models, railway models, diorama and scene models, as well as various model tools and materials.
The Dynamic Model and Event Competition Hall (1E) features remote-controlled tanks, military vehicles, trucks, engineering machinery, remote-controlled aircraft, and ships, along with modeling sports and recreational experiences. The hall will also host numerous events such as indoor RC car racing, 1/10 RC car performances and competitions, realistic ship posture performances on water, indoor remote-controlled flying activities, and interactive tank parades.
This model culture festival not only showcases various innovative applications but also incorporates new technologies such as robotics and AI, providing a wide array of tools and components for model enthusiasts. We look forward to sharing this grand event with model lovers everywhere.
