The Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is mainly composed of three parts: the Convention Center, Museum, and Library along with associated supporting facilities. Here are the key details:
Total Planned Land Area: Approximately 288,000 square meters.
Planned Total Construction Area: Approximately 340,000 square meters.
Breakdown of Building Areas:
Convention Center: 52,574 square meters of land area.
Museum and Library: 14,276 square meters of building area.
Commercial Buildings: 22,557 square meters.
The project was developed using the BT (Build-Transfer) model, meaning it was built under a construction–repurchase arrangement, in cooperation between the Hunan Construction Group and the Chenzhou Municipal Government. This center is a landmark project under Chenzhou’s “Southward Extension, Eastward Advancement” urban development strategy and was completed in November 2013.
