Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the Binhu New District of Hefei City. It is bordered by Luzhou Avenue to the east, Guangxi Road to the west, Jinxiuda Road to the north, and Nanjing Road to the south. The center covers an area of 58.62 hectares, with a total construction area of approximately 332,800 square meters. Of this, around 230,800 square meters is dedicated to exhibition space, with an investment of approximately 1.5 billion RMB. The first phase of the project, covering about 179,600 square meters, includes 6 standard exhibition halls, a lobby, and the main exhibition hall with its associated corridor. Once the second phase, consisting of halls 1, 2, 3, and 4, is completed, the exhibition area will reach 140,000 square meters, making it one of the largest and most fully equipped exhibition centers in Asia.

Lobby:
The lobby of the exhibition center serves as a landmark building with a novel and grand design. It functions as the main entrance for exhibitions, opening ceremonies, and VIP receptions. It is a key feature of the exhibition complex, designed symmetrically along the central axis, with curved lines and surfaces creating a unique, flowing, and cohesive form. The total area of the lobby is 10,000 square meters, distributed over three floors. The first floor (8,082 square meters) primarily includes the main lobby, check-in area, and VIP reception, with a ceiling height of 29 meters and a load-bearing capacity of 5 tons per square meter. The second floor (1,502 square meters) serves as a space for receptions and small meetings, while the third floor (844 square meters) is designated for equipment rooms.

Main Exhibition Hall:
The main exhibition hall is supported by a truss structure with a smooth and minimalistic curved roof, creating a dynamic interior space. The façade is divided into three sections: the base is made of stone, while the upper part is aluminum panels, separated by a central glass section, offering a variety of materials for a striking visual effect. The hall covers an area of 23,000 square meters, providing space for 1,265 standard exhibition booths, with a clear height of 15-18 meters. There are entrances and exits at both the north and south ends. Additionally, there are 10 standard exhibition halls, each covering 10,000 square meters and capable of hosting 550 booths with a clear height of 15-18 meters, also with entrances and exits at both the north and south.

Corridor:
The corridor is two stories high, with the lower level near the exhibition halls being used for external commercial activities, creating an interactive space for business exhibitions. The second level functions as an outdoor platform for pedestrian flow and temporary uses. The commercial façade is primarily composed of glass and advertising panels, creating a rich visual effect.

Conference and Office Area:
The second and third floors of the exhibition center are dedicated to conference rooms, with a total of 23 meeting rooms. The second floor has 7 rooms, while the third floor has 16 rooms, covering a total area of about 2,500 square meters, capable of accommodating up to 3,000 people for various meetings and events.
