2025 Nanguo Book Fair and Yangcheng Book Exhibition

The 2025 Nanguo Book Fair (hereinafter referred to as 'Book Fair') will grandly open from August 15 to 19, with the theme 'Book Fragrance Bay Area, Reading the World, Sharing the Future'. This year's fair aims to promote cultural exchange between China and foreign countries and showcase the world's leading publishing powers. The fair will employ a combination of online and offline formats with provincial collaboration, launching a '1+1+N' exhibition structure, featuring one offline main venue (China Import and Export Fair Complex Area B), one online cloud venue, and multiple specialty sub-venues, thus better serving a wide range of participants and readers.

A significant highlight will be the international flair, gathering many renowned international publishers to create an important platform for cultural exchange. Meanwhile, technology-enabled smart reading will undoubtedly lead the planning and design of the exhibition area, organizing enriching reading activities to build an imaginative smart reading ecosystem. Additionally, the deep integration of diverse ecosystems will cover broader scenarios, decoding the aesthetics of modern life through reading.

Rooted in Guangzhou, the Book Fair has closely connected sub-venues throughout the province and in Kashgar, Xinjiang, penetrating into Guangzhou’s railways, subways, bookstores, libraries, industrial parks, and rural reading points, fostering a rich atmosphere for public participation in reading. Exciting events such as the series on high-quality cultural development, 'Book Fragrance Lingnan' series, and 'Book Charity Walk' series will unfold successively, focusing on enhancing reading quality and stimulating the internal driving force for shared reading within society.
