IBIE 2025 - The 15th China International Battery Industry Expo

Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and in-depth implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, the 15th China International Battery Industry Expo will be held by the China Battery Industry Association at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from October 10 to 12, 2025.
This expo has a historic background, having been first launched in 1997 in Beijing and successfully held 14 times by 2019, showcasing its importance as a communication platform in the battery industry. The first expo was personally endorsed by then Vice Premier Zou Jiahua, emphasizing state support for the battery sector.
The China Battery Industry Association, established in 1988, is a national level non-profit organization consisting of enterprises and individuals in the battery industry and its related sectors, playing a key role in guiding industry development, policy direction, technological innovation, and green low-carbon transformation. The successful resolution of the "lithium iron phosphate material intellectual property dispute case," led by the association, has established a significant foundation for the development of the domestic lithium battery industry.
This year’s exhibition will showcase a wide range of new batteries and battery packs including lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, sodium batteries, flow batteries, solid-state batteries, fuel cells, and more. It will also highlight battery materials and components such as positive and negative materials, electrolytes, separators, etc. The expo will demonstrate the applications of batteries in electric vessels, drones, new energy vehicles, and other consumer electronic products. The latest technologies in charging infrastructure will also be showcased, including smart monitoring equipment and solutions for charging stations. Additionally, cutting-edge energy storage technologies, including compressed air storage and flywheel energy storage, will be presented, focusing on grid-level, residential, and portable energy storage solutions.
The exhibition area is expected to reach 30,000 square meters, attracting industry experts and enterprises from around the globe to showcase the latest in charging technology, battery materials, and application prospects, contributing positively to international exchange and cooperation.
