2025 3rd CPHI & PMEC China Pharmaceutical Industry Expo (Shenzhen)

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most open and economically vibrant regions in China. Supported by national and local policies, this area has rapidly developed into an important hub for the biopharmaceutical industry. It is expected that by 2028, the total GDP of the health industry in this region will reach 2 trillion yuan, and by 2030, it is projected to grow to between 2.5 trillion and 3 trillion yuan.

The 2025 CPHI & PMEC Pharmaceutical Industry Expo (Shenzhen) will grandly open from September 1 to September 3 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), showcasing a significant expansion in scale, line-up, themes, and content. This exhibition will cover the entire Asia-Pacific market and regions along the Belt and Road, focusing on new drug research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and process innovation.

Three main exhibition halls will be featured: the Pharmaceutical Raw Materials and Packaging Materials Hall (Hall 9), the Formulations Hall (Hall 7), and the Pharmaceutical Equipment Hall (Hall 8). Together, they will showcase cutting-edge industry strengths and present innovative achievements and solutions, working together to draw a new blueprint for the pharmaceutical industry in the Greater Bay Area.

This year's CPHI & PMEC Pharmaceutical Industry Expo will showcase trends in the pharmaceutical industry from the perspective of the entire industrial chain. Exhibits will range from raw materials and intermediates, biopharmaceuticals, formulations, excipients, natural extracts, CDMO services, third-party service platforms, formulation equipment, raw material equipment, packaging equipment, and cleanroom engineering. By connecting the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, the expo aims to release cooperative potential and explore paths of synergistic innovation. The event will also feature three special thematic exhibition areas to deeply showcase cutting-edge technologies and achievements in the pharmaceutical industry, providing a precise and professional platform for communication and display to achieve quality development.

The Synthetic Biology Exhibition Area will showcase enabling technologies such as design and automation platforms, DNA/RNA synthesis, gene editing tools, sequencing, and amplification tools, along with upstream and downstream synthetic biology products. This area aims to explore the limitless potential of synthetic biology in the pharmaceutical industry and its broad applicability in drug discovery, research, production, and commercialization.

The Pharmaceutical Clean Engineering Exhibition Area will address the diverse production needs, showcasing clean equipment, cleanroom structures, clean engineering, and pharmaceutical plant design solutions. This area will promote high-quality industry development and provide strong support for companies to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

The Peptide Medicines Special Exhibition Area will focus on the research and development, production technologies, and relevant market applications of peptide medicines. This area aims to foster innovation in the peptide industry through communication and collaboration, understanding advanced technological progress and market trends.
