2025 China Shanxi International Water Resources Conference and Water Conservancy Technology Expo

Water is the source of life, the foundation of production, and the essence of ecology; it is the mother of all things and the source of civilization. With the rapid growth of the world's population and economic development, water resource issues have become increasingly prominent. Currently, many people globally live in areas with water scarcity and even struggle to access clean drinking water. Furthermore, climate change exacerbates extreme weather events like floods and droughts, posing serious challenges to global water security. In response, we urge provinces, cities, and regions to take action, sharing advanced concepts and technological achievements in the water resource sector and adopting energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and integrated governance measures to achieve the sustainable development goals related to water by 2030.

From March 22 to 24, 2025, coinciding with World Water Day and China Water Week, the 2025 China (Shanxi) International Water Resources Conference & Water Expo will be held at the Shanxi Xiahe International Exhibition Center. This event aims to promote the scientific and rational use of water resources and contribute ideas and solutions for human health. The expo serves as a crucial platform for showcasing the latest technologies related to smart water conservancy and water affairs, including urban water supply and drainage, water treatment technologies, flood prevention and drought relief, and water resource protection and development across various fields. The exhibition will feature technologies from key systems such as 5G, the Internet of Things, and intelligent analysis to new equipment and methods for urban water supply.

Furthermore, we will explore advancements and technological applications in areas such as digital twins, water ecological restoration, farmland water conservation, and hydrological monitoring, discussing more effective water resource management and protection measures. The expo looks forward to sharing experiences with industry peers, discussing future development directions for water resources, and gathering intelligence and strength to build a secure water future.
