The Huaqiao International Expo Center is a key functional project of Huaqiao International Business City. It adopts an operational model that combines exhibitions with conferences, promotes exhibitions through conferences, and integrates exhibitions and conferences. Its development orientation is "leveraging Shanghai's leadership, dislocating Suzhou's functions, and coordinating Kunshan's industries". It is a multifunctional integrated service area that integrates exhibitions, trade, commerce, office, and conference services. It forms a service system including exhibition halls, technology, advertising, business, property management, and other services, striving to become a sub-center of the Shanghai Hongqiao National Convention and Exhibition Center and an influential exhibition industry cluster in East China.
The Huaqiao International Expo Center covers a total area of 215,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 124,000 square meters, and an actual usable exhibition and negotiation area of 100,000 square meters. It is mainly composed of seven 10,000-square-meter exhibition halls and a 30,000-square-meter negotiation area, which can accommodate nearly 3,500 international standard booths.
The exhibition hall boasts a 4,300 square meter conference area, including a multi-functional conference hall capable of accommodating 500 people and nine small to medium-sized conference rooms ranging from 10 to 200 people. It also features a 5,100 square meter catering banquet hall capable of seating 800 people, a catering service area offering business meals, and comprehensive service facilities such as a business center. The exhibition hall provides 1,700 parking spaces.
