The Handan International Convention and Exhibition Center broke ground in May 2005 and officially opened in September 2007.
This modern professional exhibition venue integrates both conference and exhibition functions. It covers a total building area of 63,000 square meters, with 20,000 square meters of exhibition space and 8,000 square meters of conference space. The center is surrounded by complete supporting facilities and is located near several key places such as the Apollo Grand Hotel, Yuexing Home City, Xingang International Electronics City, and Sunshine Furuit Building Materials and Home Textile City. Within a 30-minute drive, visitors can reach the Qinglan Expressway and the Jinggangao Expressway.
The main entrance (south entrance) of the exhibition center faces a large 111-acre public square, and to the west is the Apollo five-star hotel, making it an ideal venue for conferences and exhibitions. Since its opening in September 2007, the Handan International Convention and Exhibition Center has successfully hosted numerous large-scale exhibitions and conferences, including national car exhibitions, real estate expos, antique and calligraphy exhibitions, furniture expos, and particularly the China Hebei (Handan) International Building Materials Expo, which attracts a large number of domestic and international companies and guests. Additionally, significant conferences, such as the annual Two Sessions and Party Congress, are held here in Handan.
