The Zhongshan Huangpu International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the central area of Huangpu Town, Zhongshan City, within the China Food Industry Demonstration Base. It is east of the Jingzhu Expressway and west of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Line and the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Light Rail. Covering an area of 72 acres with a venue space of 10,000 square meters, the center has a total investment of over 40 million RMB. The exhibition hall features a steel grid frame and glass curtain wall structure, with a modern, elegant design that is both innovative and stylish. It is one of the highest-standard exhibition venues in Zhongshan City and has become a landmark building in Huangpu Town.
The exhibition center consists of two indoor halls. Hall 1 is square-shaped, with an area of approximately 6,000 square meters, while Hall 2 is round-shaped, with an area of 4,000 square meters. The two halls are connected side by side, with a scientific design that allows them to be used together or separately. The venue is equipped with a highly secure and reliable intelligent monitoring system, an automatic fire sprinkler system, communication facilities, public broadcasting, central air conditioning, a CNC lighting system, and an automatic power backup system. Additionally, the center is equipped with anti-theft digital monitoring devices, touch-screen inquiry devices, and other modern facilities for information-based and intelligent management.
Since its completion in 2005, the Zhongshan Huangpu International Convention and Exhibition Center has hosted more than 30 different types and scales of exhibitions, including the Food Fair, Home Appliance Expo, Fashion Show, Industrial Expo, Tea Expo, and more. These exhibitions have not only injected new vitality into Huangpu's economic development but have also driven the growth of industrial clusters in surrounding areas, further promoting the development of Zhongshan's exhibition industry. For example, the 32nd China Home Appliance Trade Fair will be held at the center on August 8, 2023, with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters and an expected 600+ enterprises and 35,000 buyers showcasing the latest home appliance products and industry trends.
