The Silk Road Greenland International Science and Technology Exhibition Center in Lanzhou New Area is a key project located in the Lanzhou New Area. It has a total construction area of 147,000 square meters, with a net exhibition area of 80,000 square meters. This center integrates multiple functions, including exhibition, conference, dining, entertainment, culture, and tourism, and is the first "Industry + Exhibition" modern green venue in the northwest to serve the national strategic development needs.
The construction of the Lanzhou New Area Silk Road Greenland International Exhibition Center began in 2019 and was put into use in 2022. Its construction attracted wide attention from various sectors of society, especially as the sub-venue of the 28th Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, demonstrating its important strategic position and function.
The center is operated by Shanghai Greenland Hannover Exhibition Co., Ltd., and consists of 10 exhibition halls. The venue’s column-free large spaces can accommodate different-scale exhibitions. Phase 1 includes 6 exhibition halls and one main lobby, connected by a long exhibition corridor. The column-free space with a low ceiling of 12 meters is suitable for hosting various conferences, exhibitions, sports events, performance celebrations, novel displays, and fashion and entertainment activities.
