The Deqing International Convention Center is located on the central Fengxi Lake within the Deqing Geographic Information Industrial Park. It is owned by the Huzhou Moganshan High-Tech Group Co., Ltd. and jointly operated with Beijing North Star Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd. The center was completed in October 2018 and primarily hosts international conferences and large-scale exhibition events. In November 2018, it served as the venue for the first United Nations World Geospatial Information Congress and was designated as the permanent site for this event.

The design concept of the Deqing International Convention Center is "Breaking Through the Clouds at Dawn, the Phoenix Soaring to the Heavens." The building's shape resembles a floating cloud on the lake, symbolizing lightness and agility. The structure consists of two silver semi-circles forming an ellipse, topped with a three-dimensional metal roof that resembles a phoenix taking flight. This design not only integrates modernity with traditional cultural elements but also cleverly incorporates the natural landscape of Deqing, showcasing the harmonious beauty of nature and architecture.

The Deqing International Convention Center has a total construction area of approximately 107,000 square meters, comprising both a conference center and an exhibition center. In addition to providing conference and exhibition services, the center also offers dining and tourism services. Its flexible spaces and professional facilities make it an ideal venue for hosting various conferences, exhibitions, gatherings, celebrations, and performances. Since its opening, the center has hosted over 200 domestic and international events.
