The Dongying Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Dongying City's Dongying District, south of Huanghe Road (Yellow River Road), north of the Guangli River, east of Lushan Road, and west of Xiangshan Road. It stands as one of Dongying City's iconic landmarks. The center was invested in and constructed by the Huatai Group, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, covering an area of 17.66 hectares. It is Dongying's first large-scale, modern, international, and high-tech international convention and exhibition center.
Situated in the heart of Dongying's new district, the center enjoys convenient transportation and is surrounded by key cultural and educational facilities, including the Dongying Cultural and Art Center, Museum, Library, and Science Museum, collectively forming the city's central business district. It is located south of the new district government, 2 kilometers east of the Dongqing Expressway, adjacent to the city's main thoroughfare, Lushan Road, to the west, and near the North First Road, a scenic boulevard connecting the eastern and western parts of the city, to the north. It is only 1 kilometer south of the city's fast transit corridor.

The Dongying Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center was completed in August 2008 as one of Dongying City's top ten key projects. It has significantly enhanced the city's international image and promoted its economic and cultural development. Moving forward, the center will continue to leverage its strengths in hosting international exhibitions, conferences, large-scale weddings, and commercial banquets, solidifying its position as the premier venue for high-end, large-scale events.
