The Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center is a large-scale modern exhibition venue invested and constructed by the Ningbo Municipal Government. It serves as the core exhibition area of the Ningbo International Trade Exhibition Center.
Located in the central area of Ningbo's six districts, the center is positioned in the heart of the Eastern New City Business District, offering excellent accessibility. It is only 5 kilometers from the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo (Huhangyong) and Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou (Yongtaiwen) Expressways, 18 kilometers from Beilun Port, China's second-largest port, and directly connected to the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, providing a convenient two-hour drive to Shanghai.
Covering an area of 44.4 hectares, the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center has a total construction area of 140,000 square meters. It consists of eight interconnected exhibition halls arranged in a circular pattern, along with administrative and conference buildings, forming a comprehensive complex capable of accommodating nearly 5,000 international standard booths. Each exhibition hall is independent yet interconnected, allowing for flexible configurations to host large, medium, and small-scale exhibitions.
The main entrance at the south gate leads to a large exhibition plaza, where a 72-meter-high arrow-shaped tower, known as the "Dinghai Shenzhen" (Stabilizing Sea Needle), stands at the central axis. This tower, pointing directly toward the sky, complements the arch-like architecture of the main exhibition halls, symbolizing the rising success of Ningbo's exhibition industry.
Since its completion and opening in 2002, the center has successfully hosted over 1,200 domestic and international exhibitions.
